Distraction! Distraction! Distraction! What great fun! Mom and Dad took me on vacation this weekend to Waterton with a house on wheels behind the truck. The first thing I saw when we got here and parked was a deer. Oh dear! Oh dear! It was a Whitetail deer I know this because I could see its white tail as it was running away when I lost it and tried my best to snap my leash. Unfortunately the leash that Mom and Dad got has proven to be stronger than the red leash that Mom repaired a few weeks ago. 

I have a great vantage point from the trailer window. It’s pretty precarious but it’s OK as long as no one walks past at which point my excitement often results in me falling off. I also sleep on that couch. But I didn’t fall off that in the middle of the night! Despite what Mom and Dad maintain. 

I’ve also met gophers here. What a clever name. Every time I gopher them they gopher their holes. 

It’s all adventure here. We went to the lake shore and I chased the waves. I’m happy going into the water after sticks and I’ve put my head in a couple of times but I’m not ready to try swimming yet.
