OMG!! WTF!! There’s another dog!! She keeps appearing in the corner of Mom and Dad’s bedroom. I don’t know how long she’s been there but I’ve just discovered her this week. She appears quite close to the chair I sleep in. I have to say she’s REALLY pretty.

Now that spring is here and I’ve been in the back yard more. I’ve been able to show off one of my reservation talents…. Digging!!! It’s such fun. I don’t understand why Mom isn’t so full of praise for this fantastic talent! I’ve been digging in the flower beds and in the lawn. I’ve missed it so much over the winter. An added bonus is I get to track my muddy paws all through the house. 

In other news, I’ve been working on my patience in ‘Place’. I’m really proud of this and actually it’s OK to have a little down time every now and then. My leash skills are doing much better too. I don’t pull on the leash at all any more and walk beside Mom or Dad pretty calmly unless there’s a distraction…. which there seem to be more and more. Rabbits especially seem to be more abundant. Maybe they’ve been breading a lot …. like rabbits, I guess. There’s lots more of them than there used to be and many of them are really small and bite sized. I simply can’t understand why I’m not allowed to chase them and eat them.
