Well. Let me tell you about Smudge. Firstly, yesterday and today he’s been off his breakfast. We suspect he’s had enough of this protein (pork). Yesterday he skipped breakfast and was STARVING by supper time. This morning was the same thing. We tried to persuade him but he wasn’t interested so we took it away for later.

So, here we are, one fed and happy dog, one unfed and grumpy dog. Smudge is looking for food but won’t take his offered breakfast. Nanci is sitting at the kitchen counter catching up with emails on her phone. Suddenly, Smudge jumps up onto her lap and from there onto the counter. What the woof doggo!!

Of course Nanci grabbed him quickly and got him off the counter – once the shock of his brazen agility had sunk in.
