Maggie and Smudge

Our site is split into several sections. We are using this as a way to keep our friends up to date with what is going on in our dogs lives. You can read more about them in the blogs section

We also have several sections promoting several type of products that can be purchased through links to other areas from this site.

We are promoting canvas prints of photos that we have taken personally. These are great quality prints with wrapped canvas (picture wraps around the side of the 3/4 inch frame) and is professionally printed and framed. I’m amazed by the quality of these canvas prints.

Additionally, we’re fundraising for the rescue that we adopted both Maggie and Smudge from. Please visit the fundraisers page and consider purchasing a t-shirt to support them. All proceeds from these sales go to the Courageous Canines Rescue,

As keen RV’ers we like to log our travels so we can look back on where we’ve been and where we would like to go back to as well as distance travelled, services of sites when we get there and some other things. There are a number of journals for logging this sort of stuff available but many are very detailed.. we’re more ‘go with the flow’ type folks so we’ve excited to be able to offer a journal that reflects our position on this. This is available for purchase on Amazon English speaking markets Go to our Camping page for a link to this.

Also coming soon are pages promoting products that we have used or recommend that are available for purchase through Amazon. These will cover camping, household, internal decor (did we mention that we recently finished our basement) as well as dog related items. Watch this space for more details of this.

Maggie is a 2-year-old Belgium Malinois cross and Smudge is an 8 month old Husky cross. We live in Calgary, Alberta.

We both came from a rescue called Courageous Canines. They are based here in Calgary. Initially they were solely a rescue but have blossomed into a wider scope by offering support and help to all dog owners, not just rescues.

They offer support in terms of obedience training, socialization training and dietary guidance. On top of all this, they are always looking for foster parents and adopters. We are forever grateful to Courageous Canines for the help they have been to us.
